Warranty and return

1. Warranty

At ARTICUL, we are committed to the high quality of our furniture. We provide a minimum 3 year guarantee on all goods purchased on our website, whether you purchase online or by post (by law this also applies to in-store purchases). This warranty is your minimum right under EU rules and covers the repair, replacement or refund of defective or non-conforming products. If you choose a refund instead of a replacement or repair, the amount you will be refunded may be reduced based on the time elapsed since purchase and the condition of the returned goods. This reduction will be assessed by ARTICUL on receipt of the returned goods and may reflect any benefits you have received from the goods that led to the decision to return the goods.

1.1.
Please note that this guarantee is subject to the laws of Latvia as ARTICUL is a Latvia based business. Accordingly, any additional terms or protections are governed by Latvian law. For more information, please visit the Consumer Rights Protection Centre website.

2. Return Policy

2.1 Right to refuse and return

As an ARTICUL online shopper, you have the right to cancel and return your order within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods. This right applies for any reason, even if you are simply changing your mind. You have the right to unpack and inspect the goods within this 14 day period to determine its characteristics. You may do this to the same extent as you would normally do in a physical shop. During this return period, you are liable for any depreciation in the value of the goods or their use contrary to good faith if, during the exercise of the right of withdrawal, the goods are used beyond the limits necessary to determine and verify their nature and characteristics.

2.2 Exceptions

As ARTICUL specialises in the manufacture of furniture and industrial goods, exemptions from the 14-day cancellation period are limited in certain cases. For example, it is not possible to return an item if it is made to special order and differs from the store’s standard range. For more information, please visit this information sheet on warranties and returns in the EU.

2.3. How to withdraw and return an item

To cancel your purchase, you must notify us of your decision. You can request a cancellation form by email. Please note that the buyer is responsible for returning the goods and the cost of return delivery is borne by the buyer. We can provide you with a price estimate and arrange delivery on your behalf at your request. In this case, the cost of return delivery will be deducted from the amount to be refunded.
